Merit-I: H.S.C.

The candidates who have passed H.S.C. Pre-Engineering annual examination of 2007 or earlier upto Annual examination of 2003 with optional subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and have secured at least 50% marks (C grade) from any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan. In addition, the candidates who have passed Intermediate (General Science Group) in Annual Examination 2007 or earlier upto Annual Examination of 2003 and have secured at least 50% marks (C-Grade) in aggregate are also eligible for their admission only in Electronics Engineering. They will not claim their admission in any other discipline. The candidates who have passed the above examination or equivalent examination before Annual Examination 2003 shall not be eligible for admission.

OR

The Candidates having passed examination equivalent to H.S.C. (Pre-Engineering) from Educational Institution located in Pakistan to obtain equivalence certificate from Chairman Inter Board Committee, Islamabad.

Merit-II: B. Sc.

The candidate who has passed B.Sc. (pass) examination in First division in the year 2007 or earlier upto Annual examination of 2003, securing at least 50% marks in H.S.C. (Pre-Engineering) are eligible. In case seats of B.Sc. are vacant in any category the same will be given to H.S.C. of the same category and indiscipline where the seats are lying vacant.

The combinations of optional subjects in B.Sc. (pass) are as follows:

(i) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
(ii) Physics, Mathematics and statistics.
(iii) Chemistry, Mathematics and statistics.
(iv) Physics, Mathematics OR Maths-A, Additional Maths OR Mathematics-B,

Note:- Admission shall be granted purely on merit and provincial quota basis, as Prescribed in this Prospectus.

FILLING UP THE APPLICATION FORM

The candidates are advised to fill-up the application form for admission in their own hand writing carefully, specially, while writing the preference for the choice of field of study. No change in any column of the application form for admission shall be allowed after its submission to the College, without prior permission of the Admission Committee. Any Candidate writing only one or two of the choices shall not be considered for the other disciplines. Separate application forms are to be filled for each category applied for.
